Namibian Culinary Specialties
Home cooking at Krumhuk
As a farm, delicious food is what we do best. We pride ourselves not only on the quality and freshness of our produce, but also on our wonderful team in the kitchen who will bring all our ingredients together into a beautiful meal, combining Namibia’s rich and complex history of indigenous, German, and Afrikaner culinary influences.
Namibian Braai (‘to grill’ in Afrikaans) in particular is a wonderful local experience. A traditional barbeque with local meat and game, a Braai often includes boerewors (sausage), sosaties (meat on skewers), roosterbroodtjies (grilled bread), and game steaks. Braai is about more than just food, it is about bringing people together and building community. And so, at Krumhuk we come together to eat and celebrate the beauty of the land, the culture, and the people.
