Experience guided hunting on our 8000 ha of wild savanna

For a limited number of Namibia-loving hunters we offer guided trophy and reduction hunt between February and November on free roaming game like Kudu, Oryx, Zebra, Hartebeest, Springbok and Warthog. Your experienced hunting guide Ulf-Dieter Voigts alongside Mathias Kavindja (San), Clemens Voigts and Gabriel Ahlenstorf will take you on an exciting stalking hunt through 8000 ha of bush savannah, mountains, and dry river beds or just in a hide near a scenic water hole.

OVERVIEW

Hunting is an integral part of the farm’s holistic management. The game that naturally occurs at Krumhuk steadily increases, despite the presence of predators in the area. To regulate this growth, we use carefully controlled commercial hunting in order to safeguard each type of pasture and species. The game is kept under close observation in a conservancy of more than 100 000 ha without fences. All this is done to ensure the sustainability of the whole area.

The supply of game meat from this activity benefits the whole farm community including the primary school on the farm. Any surplus is processed for sale in the farm own butchery.

Hunting Season

The best time for hunting in our area, and indeed in Namibia generally, is from April to September. Then the weather is usually pleasantly cool, even cold, and the game tend to congregate around the remaining water-holes.
Hunting season however, runs from February to November, which includes months when the weather can either be rainy or very hot.

Your Stay at Krumhuk

We recommend a stay of 5-6 days, with days possibly added on for arrival and departure. During your stay the whole group of hunters will have full board and lodging. If you wish to stay on, for instance, to use the farm as a base for further trips, you would be very welcome to do so in one of our guesthouses.

Hunting Groups
