Conservation

Treasuring Namibia’s unique landscape

Sustaining the local balance of land, water, flora, and fauna is central to our mission. In particular, the semi-arid climate requires conscious use and sourcing of water. Krumhuk’s drinking water is sourced from wells, while rainfall is collected and stored in dams for agriculture and livestock. In order to preserve Krumhuk’s flora and fauna, the community of hunters in the area carefully maintains the natural balance of wild animals and plants, avoiding over-hunting, and supporting the conservation of local species.

Special care is taken to ensure the coexistence of both humans and wild animals on Krumhuk’s land, striving for our motto, ‘in harmony with nature’. We are also constantly working on research and innovation to improve the sustainability of our natural resource use.
